Live Action Role-Playing Game (LARP) is a form of role-playing game in which participants physically portray their characters. Players pursue objectives in a fictional setting represented by the real world, while interacting with each other in the characters.

History of LARP

LARP has no single point of origin, but was invented independently by groups in North America, Europe, and Australia. These groups shared experiences with genres of fiction or tabletop role-playing games and a desire to physically experience such environments.
