High Woods Country Park, Colchester, Essex
Stand and deliver! One of Lace Wars' C18th highwaymen, who lurked in the woods (reflecting the reputation of the area 250 years ago), waiting for unsuspecting visitors to pounce on. People enjoyed being “robbed” so much, they went back for more, especially when they realised that the highwaymen were collecting for the Army Benevolent Fund, who were also present at the event.
