47th Regiment of Foot

The 47th Regiment of Foot are a northern-based living history society depicting C18th redcoats. They recreate soldiers of the French and Indian Wars (1755-63) and - above - of the American War of Independence (1775-83).

The group is pictured above at the Stafford Castle 1000 Year Fair 2001 and were present again at the 2002 fair on 18-19 May. See our galleries for more pictures.
