Formal surrender in castle grounds Parliamentarians take control of the castle. Defenders paroled/ some reenlist in Parliamentarian army. Remaining garrison march out and the Siege lines begin to come down. |

Ongoing activities
· Skirmishing along Parliamentarian side of river bank (musket fire only, Noon to 4pm, except during truces)
· Living history in the castle and in siege lines including surgeon, laundry, food preparation, officers' and soldiers' encampments, Parliamentarian, Scots and royalist troops, artillery position, engineers' tent, and much more. Nearly all living history displays will be accessible to the disabled and many suitable for visually impaired visitors.
