Powys at home and at war - 1940s weekend

Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 June 2010

EventPlan is arranging performers and participants for this the National Trust event, commemorating the people of Powys and the allied military during WWII, with music and song, entertainments, and living history. All Allied and civilian 1940s re-enactors (especially Home Guard), vehicle owners and enthusiasts are warmly invited*. Visitors are invited to join in with the spirit of the event by coming in period dress (completely optional, of course!).

1940s groups and individuals wishing to participate in this event are invited to pre-register with us for free admission, and so we can forward full details nearer the time. Before you do, please click the link for our terms and conditions of participation (link above). Please note, As this is a Home Front event, no axis impressions please.
