The Sealed
Knot
The Sealed Knot is probably the most famous re-enactment society in Europe. Formed in 1967, it can still field upwards of a 1500 soldiers at "major musters".
The picture shows soldiers marching through Banbury in 1984, as part of an event commemorating the siege of the castle.
