Rufford through the ages - history comes to life!

Prior to D-Day, the Coldstream Guards used Rufford as a military training ground, combining infantry tactics with their Churchill Tanks. These troops were represented by members of The Royal Norfolk Regiment, who set up a living history encampment and demonstrated tactics of the era.

You can see the Norfolks at Rufford again, as part of On the Home Front 1939-45 on 18-19 August 2007.
