Fire fighting at Clumber Park

A fireman of the NFS Display Group aims a hose (with a little help from visitors) at Wartime Clumber in June 2009. Part of a an extremely successful programme of living history, displays and entertainments staged by EventPlan on behalf of the National Trust, with over 12,000 people visiting over the weekend...most (but not all!) of whom sensibly stood well clear of the powerful water jets!  See the firemen at  several EventPlan '40s shows this year!
