60 years on

Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July 2005

The most important moment of the weekend was Sunday's service of remembrance, attended by numerous British Legion veterans, local groups, and a huge number of visitors as well as re-enactors. The latter were honoured to meet some of the men that they represented, and the former seemed delighted that their memory and traditions are kept alive by the latter's dedication to history.
