Salute for
Heroes, a truly fantastic show with over
1200 performers, celebrating our
military forces, the emergency services and other heroes past and present, staged by the Suffolk supporters of
Help for Heroes
and with all profits donated to
this extremely worthy charity. Enjoy historical re-enactments including
battles, parades and living history, classic aircraft; military and jazz bands, equestrian
and dog displays, motorcycles, plus entertainments...and an impressive 21 gun salute by historic
cannon as part of the grand
finale featuring most of the performers.
Enjoy timed displays in three arenas, music marquee and lots of ongoing activities throughout the day. Up to 40,000 visitors are expected over the weekend at this amazing show, sponsored by the Archant group (publishers of the East Anglian Daily Times) and so assured of enormous publicity.

Historic aircraft
The Grace Spitfire (Spitfire fighter), Hardwick Warbirds (2 Mustang fighters) and Sally B (B17 Flying Fortress).

Military contingents: The Light Dragoons including Scorpion light tanks; 7 Air Assault Battalion Field Gun Team; solders and veterans of the Royal Gurkha Rifles; members of the Royal British Legion
Parachutists: The Tigers, the Princess of Wales Regiment Freefall Parachute Team.
Bands and musicians: Buglers from The Rifles (both days); Cambridgeshire Army Cadet Corps Band (both days); Colchester & District Pipes and Drums (Sunday); Glenmoriston Pipe Band (Saturday); City of Norwich pipe Band (Saturday); Royal British Legion Corps of Drums (Long Melford) (Sunday) Swing Street Big Band (Sunday) and Freddie & Friends New Orleans Jazz Band (both days).

All British and civilian 1940s re-enactors and military vehicle owners are warmly invited to participate (Subject to adhering to our terms and conditions of participation). Classic vehicles (military and civilian) up to 1970 also warmly invited. Free admission and camping if pre-registered. Please register, or contact us for more information.

Side shows and other attractions
There'll be lots to see and do in addition to the above displays. For example, take a helicopter ride (with Sterling Helicopters), have a drive in full size or mini Land Rovers (with the Suffolk Land Rover Owners' Club and Little Rovers respectively), have a go at a climbing wall, and enjoy other have a go activities (charges apply).
Food and drink
Enjoy a wide variety of food and drink with a number of excellent caterers, coffee vendors, and a beer tent.
Admission (grounds and event only)
Adult £10, Child £5, or £20 per car (outstanding value for a family day out!), £40 per minibus and £200 per coach. Pre-booking available in due course. All profits to Help for Heroes. Free parking on site.

How to get there
Glemham Hall is situated on the A12 Ipswich to Lowestoft road, approximately 15 miles NE of Ipswich, Suffolk. Please click for directions. Please follow event road signs on arrival.
Please note that the Glemham Hall estate is not normally open to visitors.
