Ongoing displays and activities
In addition to the timed displays above, don’t miss the extensive living history displays, from most of the above groups plus:
Viking warriors of the Ormsgard Dark Age Theatre; a C17th coffee shop at the History Re-enactment Workshop tent; American Civil war campaign camp; polar explorers of the Antarctic Adventurers; WWI field hospital by Blood and Bullets; WWI French uniforms and artefacts presented by Croix de Guerre; Spanish Civil War volunteers of La Columna: WWII Home Front civilians and military from On Parade; WWII Soviet soldiers of Za Oberonya; Vietnam era US forces recreated by Rolling Thunder and the 5th Special Forces Group, 3rd Mobile Strike Force; 1960s anti-Vietnam war demonstrator portrayed by Peter Frost; Falklands troops c1982 portrayed by Past Regiments.
Please feel free to visit the performers’ encampments and displays, and don’t be shy to ask any of the performers any questions you may have, as they are very friendly.
