- A medieval battle with knights in full armour including on horseback, men-at-arms, archery and cannon
- English Civil War and World War Two battles
- a chronological "time line" of history with soldiers, uniforms and weaponry from the ancient era to modern world
- drill and firing displays
- Medieval, Civil War and WWI horsemen
- spectacular grand parade of re-enactors through the ages
- large living history encampment featuring campaign life from the Classical Greeks to 1980s
- medieval have-a-go archery for children
